Recommended Hotels for away fairs 2009

Please find below a list of ****hotels for the 2009 away tour. We reserved an “away” contingent of single rooms at all recommended hotels (only exception: hotels listed as low-budget alternatives). There will be a bus shuttle to and from the hotels and to and from the fair locations (only exception: same as above).

We advise you to book your rooms as early as possible. The “away” contingents could only be reserved until May (see below for details) and it may be more expensive and difficult to find an adequate hotel on your own account just before the beginning of the tour.

Arrival in Germany:
International Airport Frankfurt/ Main (see www.airportcity-frankfurt.com).
Frankfurt is linked to the Autobahn as well as to the international railway network
(see www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml for train schedule).

Departure from Germany, for example:
Düsseldorf International Airport (see www.dus-int.de/dus_en) or
International Airport Frankfurt/ Main (see www.airportcity-frankfurt.com)
It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from Essen to Düsseldorf airport and 2 hours to travel from Essen to Frankfurt airport by train.

Please note that we did not arrange for a hotel-contingent for Sunday night. In case you do not leave until Monday, you should, however, be able to make reservations at the Welcome Hotel for two nights instead of one night.
